Scenic Loop to Sop Kai and the Tea plantation

A great scenic loop for a full day trip, motorbike or car.

Steep bends and curves. You'll need a reliable vehicle and good driving experience in the mountain.

This road is paved all the way, so no need of a 4WD.

A side trip to Mon Ngo Royal Project Development Center can be done.

Depart from Le Cocotier:

Muang Kut and the Mae Taeng river (Rafting base from 8Adventures)
Cafe in Wild (scenic cafe on the rapids of the Mae Taeng river)
ไร่ชาลุงเดช Rai Lung Det Tea plantation
Wat Sop Poeng (join the road 1095 to Pai)
Stop at Pangpao beach for a drink
Mae Malai market (junction highway 107) then drive North to return to Le Cocotier.
