This mostly flat valley features an extensive network of little-used rural roads and trails, making it perfect for active families with young children and teenagers alike. We also provide small-frame mountain bikes and helmets to ensure a comfortable ride for everyone.
Sit-on-top Kayak, river kayaking, touring kayaks, and SUP Stand Up Paddle Boarding
With the Ping River on our doorstep (almost) and the Mae Ngat Dam lake just 3km away, there are plenty of opportunities for water activities. Whether you are a beginner or experienced paddler, our fully trained staff will always be there to coach and assist when necessary. We offer sit-on-top and touring kayaks, iSUP paddle-board, rental and tuition.
We also propose organised worry-free all inclusive package tours, in collaboration with our Chiang Mai based partner tour company.
Hiking, trekking and nature
With the Sri Lanna National park as our backyard, it's not difficult to explore Northern Thailand's flora and fauna. Our guides are very familiar with the jungle and can teach you many things you never knew!
Within less than one hour's drive, we can take more experienced trekkers on the ridges of the Chiang Dao mountain range, at higher altitude, with coffee and tea plantations insights. Except during the hot season, (March through May) the weather is always fresh and the scenery is beautiful.

Cycling tour: Easy Rider
Easy Rider cycling tour
Join us for an easy cycling tour through the picturesque surrounding valley. Departing and returning from your hotel, this is an excellent ride for beginners and families with children. Enjoy a delightful bike ride along rarely used tarmac roads, all perfectly flat. Along the way, you'll stop at a local market and a temple, gaining valuable insights into local agriculture and rice farming.
Departs at 9am or 2pm. Duration approximately 2 hours. Riding distance 15-20 km.

East valley loop cross country ride
Embark on an exciting cross-country cycling tour that takes you through stunning forest trails and scenic countryside. This adventurous ride features a variety of off-road sections and a short but exhilarating single track. While mostly flat, you'll encounter a few short hills that add to the challenge and thrill. Our favorite cycling loop in the area, where nature's beauty awaits at every turn!
Duration 3-4 hours approximately.

Western Hills Cross Country
A challenging cross-country cycling adventure through the western hills! This ride features captivating off-road sections and an undulating landscape that will keep you engaged. While the terrain is mostly flat, you'll face a few short hills that add an exciting challenge to your journey. Along the way, we'll make several stops, including a visit to a hilltop temple, and explore various plantations and scenic rice paddies. Duration 3-4 hours. Morning or Afternoon trip.
SUP Stand up Paddle trip
1/2 Day SUP paddle clinic and practice
Learn and practice Stand Up paddle board at the nearby Mae Ngat Dam. Tuition for beginners by our instructor and practice. We provide equipment, transfer to the lake, drinking water and snacks. Half-day trip 3 1/2 hours, morning or afternoon sessions.

SUP sunset tour
1 hour Sunset SUP paddling trip
Be Active and join this 1 hour+ Stand Up paddle board at the nearby Mae Ngat Dam.
Sunset paddling, exercises and fun.
Transfers to the lake, drinking water.
Daily trip around 4pm/5pm. Beautiful scenery of the dam and great pictures opportunities!

Sit-on-top Kayak trip
Kayak clinic/practice and paddle 3+ hours at the lake. Learn the basic paddling skills on the nearby Mae Ngat Dam. Stunning paddling on the lake all year round. Perfect for beginners and families. Equipment and transportation included. 3 1/2 hours trip, morning or afternoon.

Biking and SUP trip
Bike our 30km East valley loop. Moderate to difficult level. Short single trail and off road riding. End up at the lake where we jump on paddle board for an epic Sunset paddling exercise. A complete Active day not to be missed for all sport oriented people and adventure lovers.
Afternoon departure at 1.30pm from the Hotel.

Waterfall and forest trek
Embark on an adventure to Buatong Waterfall, also known as the Sticky Waterfall!
Enjoy a guided 1.5-hour jungle trek through the national park before spending an hour at the unique waterfall. Its limestone-rich stream creates a non-slippery surface, allowing for climbing—the perfect challenge for adventurous souls!
Transportation will be provided in a local "songtaew" vehicle. Don’t miss this opportunity for fun and relaxation in a beautiful natural setting! 1/2 day trip morning or afternoon.
Relax at the Waterfall
A trip to the Sticky waterfall, also called Buatong Waterfall, located 16 km from the hotel.
Vehicle transfer and waiting time. Up to 4 hours trip. Explore the area on your own or simply relax at the waterfall.
3-4 hours trip, morning or afternoon.
Price 400 Baht per person, minimum 2 persons.
Charter a vehicle: charter our vehicle, a roofed pick-up truck "songtaew" for groups and families at 1000 Baht for a 4 hours trip.
Waterfall and Cycling
Active trip to the Sticky waterfall, also called Buatong Waterfall, located 16 km from the hotel.
Vehicle transfer and waiting time. Explore the area on your own walk the short nat, or simply relax at the waterfall.
After a lunch at the waterfall (not included) we cycle back to the hotel, riding various trails and little used road. Approximate distance 20km.
Trip duration: 3-4 hours. Morning or afternoon.

White Water Rafting
Experience exhilarating white water rafting on the Mae Taeng River! The driving distance to the river base from Le Cocotier is just 25 km. Transportation and drinking water are included. SUP Paddle board rental
Stand Up Paddle boards! We also have SUP boards for rent, to paddle and explore the dam on your own. Minimum half day, morning or afternoon. Including transportation of people and/or boards to the lakeshore. Price 600 Baht per board with equipment for a half day. National Park fees not included. Subject to advance reservation and availability.
Touring Kayak
Rent our FeelFree touring kayaks for the entire day. Transportation from Le Cocotier to the Dam is included. We provide paddles, PFD's, drinking water. Single person touring kayak.

Mountain-bike rental
